Pilot terms
Terms and conditions
Last updated 22 September 2026
These terms apply when you download, register for or use Pacestra. By creating an account or using the software, you agree to them. Pacestra is pilot software, so connected features may change while testing continues.
Using Pacestra
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use Pacestra for lawful event timing and coordination. You may not sell, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or use it to harm another person or system.
Accounts and licences
Basic offline features may be used without signing in. Registration is required for connected and licensed features. Keep access codes and collaboration links confidential, provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. Pilot access does not guarantee a future paid licence or price.
Your content and responsibility
You keep ownership of programmes, questions, branding and other content you enter. You are responsible for permission to use that content and for backups. Do not put confidential information in a collaboration room unless every recipient is authorised.
Live-event use
Pacestra is an operational aid, not a substitute for event-day judgement, safety procedures or a backup plan. Test displays, networks, rooms and accounts before each event.
Availability and updates
We may update, suspend or withdraw pilot features for security and reliability. Updates may be required for connected services. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pacestra is provided “as is” during the pilot. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue, lost data or event disruption. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Email hello@pacestra.com with questions.
